Hurricane Tampico 130 is a brand new performance rec kayak that pays homage to its retro namesake. Similar to its predecessor, this 13-foot model boasts impressive speed and tracking abilities, but it also features a wider 26-inch beam for added stability and a more comfortable cockpit. Measuring at 36 inches long and 19 inches wide, the cockpit coaming is designed to accommodate both sprayskirts and non-sprayskirt paddling, while the newly designed Airstream Strongside Seat adds a sturdy reinforcement to the overall deck. Conveniently located in front of the cockpit, the gasketed H-Pod is a practical storage space for small items like phones, and the rubber hatches and solid bulkheads at the front and back of the kayak make it perfect for day trips or overnight camping adventures.
