Mage

The Alpacka Mage is a top-of-the-line whitewater boat suitable for intermediate to advanced packrafters, providing the ultimate combination of speed, maneuverability, and storage capacity for extended trips. The Mage is ideal for building skills while progressing into Class III-IV whitewater.

The hull design of the Mage is based around the Gnarwhal with a slightly reduced the volume, reduced the width and more length, to improve tracking, edge control, and responsiveness. The Mage also incorporates features from the Valkyrie to provide exceptional whitewater performance. The low volume center panel stern is longer and narrower than the Expedition and Gnarwhal models, maximizing speed and tracking while maintaining a lightweight structure. Slight increases in bow and stern rocker keep the Mage high and dry when launching off drops and punching through features without sacrificing speed. With a one-piece dropped floor and full length inflatable pad, the Mage offers excellent secondary stability, edging, and speed, comparable to the Valkyrie. Comes with inflation bag, stuff sack, cargo fly kit and basic repair kit.
